Lanzarote is a sun-baked island just 120 kilometres off the African coast. Lanzarote offers year round sunshine and warm winds making some beaches ideal for windsurfing and water sports. This hot and sunny island with its' long sandy beaches has a number of scuba diving schools and Lanzarote's dramatic volcanic landscapes can be seen inland at the Timanfaya National Park. Most properties on Lanzarote are low-rise as the famous local artist Cesar Manrique demanded that hotels and apartments be built this way and that local houses be white-washed and feature green shutters, his influence can be seen all over the island. Our properties are mainly based in the South of Lanzarote and dotted around busy Puerto del Carmen, quieter Playa Blanca and Playa de los Pocillos and the small resort of Matagorda. Lanzarote should appeal to anyone who is looking to relax by a beach, enjoy some water sports, taking in stunning lunar-like landscape or fancies a camel ride!
